Summer Intern: Domestic Violence Unit, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office (June 2026 - Present)

  • Assist APs in the Adult Trial Section’s Domestic Violence Unit with case prep, including drafting downgrade case summaries, preparing grand jury write-ups, and creating witness lists for grand jury proceedings/indictments.

  • Observe detention hearings, trial proceedings, and other court appearances to gain practical exposure to criminal litigation, courtroom procedure, and prosecutorial decision-making.
